MDK2 will be single play game only. No multiplayer is planned and will not even be considered. You will get to play not only Kurt Hectic and run around in a skin tight black leather suit, but also play as Max the Dog and Dr. Hawkins. Each of the characters will have different objectives and different gameplay focus. Kurt is all about stealth and sniping, the Doctor has few direct attacks but has the ability to create items and effects out of simple household objects, while Max is a cigar smoking, quad gun toting demolition squad of a dog. The gameplay will decide which of the three heroes you will be playing that perticular level. That is, you will not be able to choose which of the characters you want to play. The game will take place not only on the surface of planets, but also on asteroids, spaceships and other weird locations! Expect variety within the levels! You can see a small sampling of the levels in the screenshot area.
